1957 Buick Colors
ln order to provide you with complete paint colors information for the 1957 models, we at Hometown Buick have compiled this page. It carries all 1957 Buick Colors – not matter if they were available at production start or if they were added through the year. The spring colors are: Sylvan Grey, Arctic Blue, Gulf Green, Hunter Green, Mariner Blue and Dusk Rose. All in all, Buick offered 21 different exterior colors for 1957. A new coloring feature for 1957 was the accent color in the sweepspear. In BPS 2.418 Buick introduced new colors for the sweepspear accent stripe. Besides Tangerine, from then on green and blue were also available.

The first alphabet letter designates the upper color, the 2nd alphabet letter denotes the center color, and the 3rd alphabet letter denotes the color below molding, i.e., Combination AAA would be all Black, and ADB would be Upper – Black, Center – Starlight Blue, and below moulding – Castle Grey. If there is an additional “-1” behind the paint number, your car was equipped with the rare optional wheel color “Tangerine”.
