1953 Buick Special Deluxe Sedan Equipment

For their 50 year anniversary, Buick put many new features into the 1953 Buick Special Deluxe Sedan. Power Steering was introduced to the Special series. The hood opened at the front, not at the side. Higher horsepower, higher visibility, new instrument panel, heavier frame and so on – a well equipped model 41D could be much more luxorious than a 1952 Buick Super or Roadmaster.
