1959 BUICK BUCKET SEATS

5-5 DESCRIPTION

The driver’s seat assembly is equipped with electrically-operated seat adjusters that provide fore and aft movement of the seat. Seat movement is controlled by means of a seat control switch mounted at the left of the driver’s seat assembly.

The passenger’s seat assembly is mounted on stationary supports and is positioned approximately one inch forward of the point equal to the full rearward travel of the driver’s seat.

On both front seat assemblies the cushion may be removed by lifting up on the forward edge of the seat cushion as shown in Figure 5-7, then pulling the cushion forward.
